Money Saved Spent on Accommodation
The cheap flights to Alicante meant I was able to treat my girlfriend and afford to rent a room in one of the hotels close to the beach. What I saved on the flights I made up for in the accommodation so that we could enjoy a relaxing time away from the daily hassles and really spend some quality time together.
While in Alicante we saw loads of great sights and spent time exploring the coastline. The old towns and buildings really were beautiful and we discovered some amazing restaurants where we ate well and drank a lot of wine.

I can’t recommend taking advantage of the low cost Alicante flights available from Jet2.com. We did not make it up the mountain this time so we have booked up to go again in the summer. We will be sunning ourselves on the beach and exploring this part of the world further without having to spend a fortune.
